Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Lead PMO implementation and optimization across enterprise programs, standardizing delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid/SAFe) and driving continuous process improvement to reduce project deviations and improve client satisfaction.
Own portfolio governance and reporting - conduct regular portfolio/RAID reviews, define KPIs, build executive dashboards (Power BI), and track project health, milestones, and financials across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Manage financial and resource planning, including budget forecasting, CapEx/OpEx tracking, vendor/contractor spend, and resource allocation/utilization across cross-functional technology teams.
Partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders (Finance, Business, Technology) to define project goals, manage risk mitigation plans, and facilitate requirements/change management workshops.
Mentor and manage Project Managers and PMO staff, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance standards while ensuring audit/compliance readiness (e.g., regulatory, MRIA/audit documentation in regulated industries like banking/pharma).
Must-Have Skills:
1. PMO Governance & Portfolio Management proven experience running PMO operations, RAID/risk tracking, and executive-level reporting for large, multi-million-dollar portfolios.
2. PPM Tools & Reporting Platforms hands-on expertise with tools like Planview, HP PPM, CA Clarity, Azure DevOps/Jira, and Power BI for dashboarding and status reporting.
3. Financial & Budget Management ability to manage budget forecasting, variance analysis, CapEx/OpEx tracking, and vendor/contractor spend within large programs.
