Job Description

Aerotek is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to support our growing customer base throughout the DC and Northern Virginia market. This position focuses primarily on servicing and maintaining HVAC systems within data center environments. We are looking for skilled professionals who enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, working independently, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Work on chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, split systems, and related equipment.
• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and ancillary components.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring, controls, filters, drain lines, and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs while adhering to safety standards.

Customer Service & Safety

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment conditions and repair recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Follow all company and industry safety procedures.
• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation and service experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Apprentice HVAC License required.
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ashburn, VA.

The pay range for this position is $93000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
