Job Description:The River Valley Nursing and Rehab is looking for qualified Certified Medication Aids for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm), Full-Time position. We offer shift differentials as well as pick-up bonuses and overtime hours are also available.Responsibilities:Administers or assists with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.Observes resident’s response to existing treatment plan, is aware of prominent medication interactions and side effectsAdheres to community infection control policies and procedures.Responsible for daily documentation in resident records according to state regulations where applicable, such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as may be requiredObserves and documents the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.Gives and Receives report on all residentsProvides direct resident care.Other duties as assignedRequirements/Qualifications:Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and have a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certificate, having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of the State of Iowa.Prefer prior experience as a CNA/CMA for at least 1 year.Benefits/Perks:MedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceLocation:Pleasant Valley, IA
